About Nandini
Raised dancing Kathak in temples and studying Vedic philosophy under the guidance of her father, a renowned Hindu priest, Nandini brings a lifelong connection to Ayurveda, movement, and embodied wellness. Her love of wholesome, vibrant food was shaped by summers on the paradise island of Mauritius and by her grandmother, who lived an Ayurvedic lifestyle to 96.
At the same time, Nandini was forming dance groups on school playgrounds, grooving to ’80s music and training in semi-classical Kathak — discovering early on that movement is powerful medicine. These experiences shaped her philosophy that wellness is joyful, lived, and rooted in both ancient wisdom and modern life. From classical Kathak and African-inspired Mauritian Sega to House music and global dance forms, Ayurveda and movement have been her lifelong medicine.
Today, Nandini channels this rich, multicultural performance background into her work as an Ayurvedic health coach and embodiment guide, creating transformative wellness experiences, retreats, and movement practices for individuals and organizations.
